Hero Electric AE-8 has Tubeless Tyres and Alloy Wheels.
The front apron comes with a unique-looking honeycomb design backlit in blue.
The scooter comes with a full-LED headlight, indicator, DRL’s, round chrome rear view mirror, key slot and a full-digital instrument console.
Underseat capacity is not much but can hold a half face helmet.
Drive type is a hub motor of 250 watt which isn’t that powerful but for daily use it is adequate
It comes with a removable Lithium-ion battery with a full charging time of 4 hours and it gives a range 80 km/charge
AE-8 comes with wide legroom, USB charging facility and has a Telescopic front fork suspension and dual suspension setup in the rear
With a Top Speed of 25 kmph, the scooter does not require License or registration but getting an insurance is advisable.
Hero Electric AE-8 weighs around 72 kgs
From the Technology point it comes with a bluetooth based IoT anti-theft lock system with keyless entry and comes with walk and reverse assist.
Expected launch date is around January 2022.
Hero Electric is expected to price this electric scooter close to Rs 70000/- but in some states there could benefit from FAME subsidy which can bring the scooter price below Rs 60000/-
