Hyundai India plans to launch large-scale electric cars in India within the next three years. The company chose to be tight-lipped about the developments, however, considering the recognition of the sub-four meter segment, the Hyundai Venue might get an electrical drivetrain.
The electric iteration of the Venue could also emerge as a robust competitor to the likes of Tata Nexon EV in India. That said, the corporate is yet to figure on plans for a specialized distribution system for EVs.
The company has acknowledged 14 EV charging units at its newly inaugurated Hyundai Corporate headquarter.
It currently has 3 DC fast chargers and 11 AC standard chargers.
Hyundai Kona EV car owners can charge from the Hyundai headquarters.
